Hanna Wensman-Pratt is the NCCPHT Program Manager for the NCCPHT Portfolio at the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI). In this role, she oversees three projects within the NCCPHT portfolio: Public Health Improvement Training (PHIT), Strategic Scholars and the online community of phPIN. Hanna enjoys planning PHIT and Virtual PHIT, and watching the knowledge of the Strategic Scholars cohorts grow.

Her interest in public health stemmed from discovering how diverse public health work can be. Hanna’s degree in public health is an interdisciplinary tract because she enjoys all five facets and how all can increase the public’s quality of life.

Hanna’s strong suit is grant management. At one point in her career she managed over $3 million spanning across 13 federal grants and subwards for a non-profit clinic that provides care to Native Americans. She enjoys budget management and spending funds to provide progress to communities and the healthcare workforce.

Hanna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Promotion from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Public Health degree from University of Oklahoma Hudson School of Public Health.

Hanna is a lifelong Oklahoman and a member of the Shawnee, Cherokee and Red Lake Chippewa tribal nations.
