Danielle Blakely is the NCCPHT Communications Manager at the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI). In this role, she supports several projects within the NCCPHT portfolio leading the communications components of projects related to training and workforce development.

She has a diverse background in public health with over 9 years experience in non-profit, state/ local health department, and the academia sector as it pertains to research in infectious and chronic diseases.

Her passion for public health dates to grade school years where her mother was a registered nurse and treated patients living with HIV/AIDS. She later went on to serve as an AmeriCorps member for United Way’s Project Health Access, where she worked to increase access to care for Greater Atlanta’s uninsured, underinsured, and homeless populations.

Danielle has a passion for public health and being a voice for the voiceless and serving undeserved communities. She believes that as public health professionals, we are dedicated to becoming lifelong learners and NNPHI’s National Coordinating Center for Public Health Training fosters that ideology through their mission and work.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Auburn University Montgomery and a Master of Public Health degree from A. T. Still University College of Graduate Health Studies.
