Event Details
This 8-session Project ECHO series brings together community-based partners (CBOs), public health professionals, and funders to discuss what it means to meaningfully engage with communities, build long-term sustainable relationships, and develop trust. Each 90-minute ECHO starts with a short presentation and a case study, and the heart of the session is facilitated dialogue. This series is centered on a set of Guiding Principles that our community partners elevated during the COVID19 pandemic.
This session will introduce the series and community partners, the Guiding Principles, and the discussion of racism as a structural force in public health. Introduced by Tracy Wharton and Sabrina Selk of the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) and Ilana Raskind of Health Resources in Action (HRIA).
