Chloe Lake is a Senior Communications Manager for NNPHI’s Communications and Convenings Portfolio. Her work focuses on the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG), and she is the primary point of contact at NNPHI for PHIG-related communications. In this role, she coordinates with two other national organizations, the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB), to keep PHIG recipients and partners informed and engaged in their shared work.
She is also responsible for constructing compelling stories that demonstrate how PHIG funding is being leveraged to strengthen the nation’s public health infrastructure, describe how investments like these impact communities, and inspire the next generation of public health workers. Chloe is a seasoned health communications and social marketing professional, with experience in both government agencies and nonprofits. Her expertise lies in translating complex topics into clear, solutions-oriented messaging and designing outcomes-focused communication strategies rooted in audience values and needs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degrees in both communications and psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a Master of Public Health degree from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Based in New Orleans, Louisiana, Chloe enjoys cooking, costuming, and trying every new restaurant she possibly can in her spare time.
