Cheryl Orticke is a General Ledger Grant Accountant for the National Network of Public Health Institute. Cheryl’s duties as a General Ledger/Grant Accountant are to manage the grant accounting, project budgeting, and general ledger functions of NNPHI. In addition, to the duties above, financial reporting (internal and external) on grant and contract activities, monitoring of subcontractor’s/sub awardee’s grant expenditures and providing financial and technical assistance to NNPHI budget managers regarding financial grants management and compliance.

Before joining NNPHI, Cheryl worked as a grant administrator and an accountant for not-for-profit organizations. Cheryl have decades of accounting experience that includes examining and analyzing accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures. Cheryl conferred my degree from the Southern University of New Orleans and hoped to expand my accounting skills further by increasing my education.
