This session describes the resources available to systematically gauge the status of preventive and primary health care systems, particularly during rapid health care system changes. Health system improvement initiatives in other states, ongoing work within the state of Mississippi, and the lessons learned by those who have tested health system performance improvement strategies are also covered during the session.
