Funding Opportunity: Activities to Increase Engagement of Community Based Organizations in Maternal Mortality Review Committee (MMRC) Processes

NNPHI is seeking a tribally-led implementation partner to work alongside CDC, CDC Foundation and other partners to increase engagement of community based organizations (CBOs) in Maternal Mortality Review Committee (MMRC) processes. This opportunity will explore the need, interest, capacity and applicability of maternal mortality review committees in tribal spaces.

  • Funding Available: One award, funded up to $126,000
  • Project Period: Anticipated*: April 15, 2025 – September 15, 2025 (*Pending contracting timeline)
  • Application Deadline: March 21st, 2025 11:59 pm PT

This opportunity is open to all NNPHI members, with a preference for tribal-focused public health institutes, tribal organizations, tribal-serving organizations, and consultants with a documented history working with tribes and tribal communities.
