Hannah Bartol

Program Associate

Hannah Bartol is a program associate with the evaluation and impact team at the National Network of Public Health Institutes. Her work focuses on strengthening public health infrastructure, supporting evaluation and learning activities, and fostering partnerships that advance evidence-informed public health practice.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from Central Michigan University, Hannah began her public health career with the National Native Network at the Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan. There, she worked with Tribal Nations and tribal serving organizations across the country to support commercial tobacco prevention, cancer control initiatives, and culturally grounded public health approaches. This experience sparked a lasting passion for Indigenous public health and reinforced her belief in the importance of community-driven solutions.

She is particularly passionate about Indigenous public health, health equity, social justice, and the use of evaluation to strengthen public health practice and improve community outcomes. She believes the most effective public health solutions are developed in partnership with communities and grounded in the knowledge, strengths, and priorities of the people they are intended to serve.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys trips to Disney parks, cheering on the Detroit Pistons and Green Bay Packers, and spending time in community through Indigenous cultural events and pow wows. She values opportunities to connect with family and friends, and is always looking forward to her next adventure.
