This article looks at the use of mobile technology in England to track and monitor COVID-19 cases. Based on a panel study conducted during the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, this study looks at reasons behind the adoption or lack of usage of the NHS track-and-trace application. Results showed users are less likely to use due to data privacy issues and government trust.
