The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention funded states, including Georgia, to reduce COVID-19 disparities and advance health equity, leading the Georgia Department of Public Health to engage the Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) to conduct a two-phase landscape scan of promising state strategies, first focusing on reducing inequities in pandemic responses (2021-2022) and then on building broader health equity infrastructure (2022).
