Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living

This major initiative of LPHI aims to:

  • Prevent Louisiana’s youth from beginning to use tobacco
  • Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke
  • Promote quitting among adults and young people
  • Identify and eliminate cancer and other tobacco-related health disparities
  • Facilitate effective coordination of all tobacco control & prevention initiatives statewide

Monitoring, evaluation and learning

Providing high-quality information for evidence-based decision making for a wide variety of stakeholders by a team with substantial experience in evaluation and research methods.

Planning, designing, and enabling a wide array of complex systems and solutions supporting numerous public health programs within LPHI, partners, and external clients.

Policy Research and Development

Conducting policy and public health research to assist decision makers in shaping evidence-based policy and driving progress towards health equity locally and nationally.

Program Design and Implementation

Designing and implementing innovative programs and building partnerships for health initiatives at the local, state, and national levels to achieve mission-driven outcomes.

Mental Health First Aid Training

LPHI is committed to supporting Louisiana during difficult times by providing tools and trainings to build community resiliency. One important component of resiliency is Mental Health First Aid.
