This workshop provides strategic recommendations for how public health institutes can lead change through policy opportunities including the Farm Bill, Child Nutrition Reauthorization, and Food Safety Modernization Act, in addition to local and state policy opportunities. The session also will give an overview of a range of obesity prevention policies, so that public health institutes in any area of the country will walk away with policy ideas that could work in their jurisdictions.
