Dr. Mary Beth Bigley, Director of the Division of Nursing and Public Health, Bureau of Health Workforce, at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and former acting editor in chief of Public Health Reports (the official journal of the U.S. Public Health Service) (PHR), describes HRSA’s work to help transform the way we train public health workers in the United States, in partnership with the National Coordinating Center for Public Health Training and the Public Health Learning Network.
