In support of CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) is seeking proposals to work with a member to support state- and local- level capacity to prevent opioid overdoses. The selected institute(s) will partner with state and local stakeholders to deliver technical assistance and training to states not funded through the Overdose Prevention In States effort (Texas, Mississippi, North Dakota, Iowa, and Wyoming). NNPHI Category A and B members with demonstrated experience in collaboratively designing and implementing opioid overdose prevention programs or initiatives are eligible to apply for this opportunity. NNPHI anticipates selecting one or two institutes to serve in the TA provider role, depending on the capacity of the institutes to deliver the full scope of work for all five states or fewer than five. Deadline for Submission: 5:00 p.m. PT, February 14, 2018. View the full opportunity here.
