NNPHI is partnering with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to further the roll-out of the Public Health Data Modernization Initiative. CDC’s Data Quality initiative is the first of a multi-layered approach seeking to improve the quality of vital national health data that will be directly used in improving the health of our community members. Accomplished through the federal funding of state and local health departments, the creation of standardized toolkits, and connecting with industry leading partners in the Public Health Data field – CDC aims to change the way Public Health leverages big data and create a framework for targeted and preventive health interventions.
NNPHI is seeking a dynamic and experienced facilitator from one of our member institutes that will help us plan, host, and summarize a series of small online virtual convenings / listening sessions. This opportunity would best fit someone who is an expert facilitator comfortable working through virtual platforms and familiar with public health data terminology and Data Management Plans, Data Use Agreements, and Human subjects’ protections. We are most interested in someone who can lead the facilitation and can ramp up on the terminology and topical issues as needed (so in that sense, facilitation skills are the primary requirement and data expertise is preferred).
Should you wish to be considered for this opportunity, by COB on Friday, February 26th please submit your:
- 2-3 brief past performances of similar work (i.e., one paragraph including client/funder, date completed, and brief description)
- Loaded hourly rate.
Please submit responses to firstname.lastname@example.org. NNPHI will reach out to its preferred candidate asap to discuss the project in greater detail and invite a more formal final scope of work. We will also log all submissions to consider for future opportunities.
