Partnerships for Prevention

Making measurable progress and transformation towards optimal national, state, local, and tribal public health outcomes requires aligning the diverse goals and perspectives of people and organizations in pursuit of a common social good. NNPHI’s Partnerships for Prevention team (P4P) recognizes that addressing population health challenges and improving public health systems means moving beyond just bridging silos between traditional public health partners and must leverage the expertise of the full spectrum of thought partners and experts who make up our communities.

What we do

The Partnerships for Prevention team works toward a vision of public health practice that addresses the conditions that determine health and well-being by convening diverse partners, piloting and scaling projects for reach, and creating trainings and resources that meet partners where they are at, adapting language and approaches as needed to fit the audience.
