Maya Wright is a program associate at the National Network of Public Health Institutes, where she supports Public Health Infrastructure Grant initiatives. In her role, she contributes to responsive technical assistance efforts and collaborates on projects that strengthen public health systems. Maya assists with the Public Health Learning Navigator, helping to coordinate the publishing and peer review of high-quality public health trainings.
Maya holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the College of Charleston, where she discovered her passion for health equity and community engagement. Prior to joining NNPHI, she worked as a Program Assistant on an NIH-funded study, where she gained valuable experience in data management, study coordination, and program operations.
Driven by a commitment to accessible, equitable care, Maya aspires to become a program manager—leading initiatives that bridge gaps in public health systems and ensure communities receive the support they need to thrive.
