Jaime Jimenez

Program Manager

Jaime Jimenez is a program manager within the Environmental Health and Emergency Preparedness team. In this role, he leads NNPHI’s programming related to CDC’s Project Firstline, which aims to train all front-line healthcare workers in infection, prevention, and control. Jaime also supports CDC’s Public Health Infrastructure Grant through technical assistance for environmental health and extreme weather topic areas.

In his previous role, Jaime worked on a small business analysis survey and a housing displacement report for a New Orleans nonprofit, Broad Community Connections and supported Tulane University’s Office of Sustainability with energy reporting standards and waste divergence programs. Jaime is passionate about emergency preparedness, built infrastructure, and innovative storytelling.

Jaime obtained his MPH in International Health, and a Certificate in Disaster Management and Resilience from Tulane University’s Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Jaime holds his BA in Mass Communication and Environmental Studies from Loyola University New Orleans.
