The Nevada Public Health Institute (NPHI) takes a leadership role in the practice of public health and policy development in Nevada and advances core public health functions in local and state jurisdictions.
NPHI hosts the annual Rural Nevada Public Health Summit, bringing together rural partners from across the state and expert speakers to explore rural public health topics, foster collective work in Nevada, and create new partnerships. Previous summits have focused on digital equity, developing healthy food systems, community health worker utilization and more.
