Custom E-learning programs

MCD’s workforce development solutions are wide ranging, from hybrid community health worker core competency training programs to dozens of free and low-cost eLearning modules. MCD’s custom eLearning program bring public health and instructional design expertise, creating engaging self-paced trainings on topics ranging from brain health to cancer to telehealth to deprescribing, and so much more.

MCD Global Health is a nonprofit public health organization with nearly 60 years of experience rooted in rural health and improving access to care in Maine. Decades later, MCD is a leader in U.S. and international health initiatives, collaborating with partners to strengthen the health workforce, health systems, and health outcomes.

MCD’s focus areas include eLearning, telehealth, oral health, malaria prevention, cervical cancer, substance use disorder, aging, HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, sanitation, Project ECHO, and workforce development. MCD’s eLearning modules have engaged over 15,500 users globally, enhancing health professionals’ skills. Additionally, MCD’s malaria control program on Bioko Island reduced malaria transmission by 99% and child mortality by 63%.
