Overview:

Established in 2009, the Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI) is a regional non-profit that develops multi-sector partnerships and innovative solutions. The organization focuses on improving the public’s health and well-being across the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. IPHI’s work strengthens health systems and policy, enhances conditions that promote health, and strengthens government and community capacity to ensure equitable health opportunities for all. The National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) designated IPHI as the official public health institute in the region.

The following positions will help IPHI reach its mission to work across sectors to improve the public’s health and ensure that all communities have equal opportunities to thrive and be healthy. IPHI is hiring for the following positions.

Human Resources Director: The Human Resources Director will plan, develop, and lead human resources policies, programs and activities. This position will lead a team to ensure the organization’s talent strategy, legal compliance, and human resources best practices are achieved in this newly created position. Operations Manager: The Operations Manager will coordinate the organization’s daily and long-term operational and administrative functions. The team member will provide administrative, functional, and logistical support in this newly created position. For more information, visit here.

Community Health Worker Trainers: The CHW Consultant Trainer will administer community health outreach training to newly hired CHWs, CHW Supervisors, organizations, and their community or clinical teams.
