The Public Health Improvement Training (PHIT) will be held in person (May 8, 2023) AND virtually (June 5-7, 2023), featuring a series of hands-on, skill-building workshops designed to elevate practice to the next level for the public health improvement workforce in order to take action in public health performance improvement topics such as:
- Change Management
- Communications, Engagement, and Partnership Building
- Community Health Assessment or Health Improvement Planning
- Health and Racial Equity
- Performance Management
- PHAB Accreditation or Reaccreditation
- Quality Improvement
- Strategic Planning
- Workforce Development and Resource Management
In addition, PHIT will include foundational- and leadership-focused session designed for those who are new to performance improvement and our seasoned experts. PHIT attendees have the opportunity to select from a variety of interactive learning and skill-building sessions designed for all experience levels. At PHIT, participants gain practical tools, templates, resources, and contacts to support you to take action.
