This engaging webinar will highlight CPH’s journey in improving and implementing a new employee orientation program that involves all levels of the department.

The presenter will share training plans, resources, checklists, and training modules from Columbus’ programs that were developed. Attendees will learn how these developments can be implemented in order to help successfully maintain PHAB accreditation at their respective organizations.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the steps Columbus Public Health’s Office of Workforce Development took to improve an existing new employee orientation program;
  2. Identify at least two staff roles that are involved in training new health department staff; and
  3. Identify how the New Employee Orientation Program contributed to Columbus Public Health’s ongoing accreditation.
