At NNPHI, we are a hybrid organization with a primarily remote workforce, giving our staff the flexibility to live and work in the communities they care most about. For those who prefer an in-person environment or when collaboration calls for it, our offices in New Orleans and Washington, D.C. are open and available. This approach reflects the national scope of our mission while also creating space for local connections and team collaboration when it’s most valuable.

Our team is made up of professionals with diverse backgrounds, including employment experience at public health institutes, government agencies, academic institutions, health care systems, and nonprofit organizations. Many of our colleagues are former health department leaders, policy experts, and public health practitioners who bring rich experience, insight, and passion to the work. Together, we translate knowledge into action whether through technical assistance, multi-sector partnerships, peer learning, or sharing best practices always grounded in innovation and equity.
