Nadia Powell is a Program Assistant to the E2A, Evidence to Action, team at the National Network of Public Health Institutes. In this role, she will provide program administration, logistics management, basic research, data collection, reporting, meeting/event development, and implementation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health, Education, and Human Science in Child and Family Studies: Community Outreach, with a double minor in Public Health and Africana Studies from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Also, Nadia holds a Master’s certificate in Child and Family Dynamics: Mental Health and Wellness; and is currently a Master of Science candidate at the Morehouse School of Medicine OOEP in Biotechnology. She is determined to provide access to health and education resources/programs to underserved and vulnerable communities.
Nadia is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., where she continues to show her community consciousness, and action-based endeavors to the community. The previous nonprofit work experience was gathered at her positions in A Step Ahead Foundation, Girls on The Run: Greater Knoxville, Sorority Undergraduate Executive Board, and different positions held at the University of TN. In her time, she loves to travel, read, and spend time with her loving family members and friends.
