NNPHI Annual Conference 2009

The National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) held its 8th Annual Conference, on May 6th-8th, 2009 in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Omni Royal Orleans hotel. The theme, Opportunities to Thrive in Changing Times examined current trends in advancing health system reform and opportunities for building strong components of health promotion, improvement and disease prevention in national, state, and local efforts. The conference also examined the current moment of economic crisis and highlighted successful strategies for surviving and thriving in tough economic times.
